May Thurner Syndrome (MTS) is an anatomic variant to deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and phlegmasia cerulea dolens (PCD) that presents itself as leg pain, swelling, and cyanosis. It occurs due to clot formation and compression of the left common iliac vein between the lumbar spine and right common iliac artery.
