Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is one of the prime complications in Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients, accounting for more than 50% of deaths. Therefore, cardiovascular (CV) risk reduction in T2DM patients has become a key part of the diabetes management.
T2DM therapeutics which provide pleiotropic benefits in reducing CV events are the need of the hour and should be considered in such patients. This survey intends to assess the awareness among different types of physicians regarding the development of novel T2DM therapeutics with CV risk reduction ability.
