Earlier court had ordered that MD physicians treating cardiology & neurology cases are negligent & punished .Now court has ordered that MD physicians can treat those cases in emergencies only. In some cases court has ordered referring patient is negligence & in some cases not referring is negligence. In many cases court has rejected medical expert opinion & fined doctors. In some cases court has fined General surgeon for doing hysterectomy.
In some cases court has fined for not keeping medical records for more than three years (actually three years enough). Courts are creating new rules everyday to punish doctors. Courts are framing guidelines to doctors Since MCI & IMA failed to frame guidelines. Why can't MCI & IMA frame guidelines regarding above controversies & make doctors to give treatment without any medico legal fear ?
