In spite of already in place strict and stringent Anti-ragging laws, Ragging is still practised in Medical colleges at Undergraduate or PG level admission and we get news of incidences of suicide of students even from premier medical institute because of this ragging every now and then. Therefore, recently MCI has further defined it and instructed every medical Institute to follow it strictly. Even few medical educations have placed boards displaying anti-ragging law with points clarified at administrative buildings and in student hostels forming an Anti ragging and anti women harassment committee.
