MCI which will be replaced soon by a National Medical Commission through a bill which will be placed in this Monsoon Session of Parliament which has been cleared by Cabinet as stated by Attorney General in Supreme Court while submitting a panel of five eminent Doctors of India as members of Oversight Committee for current year as Supreme Court considers that MCI is not fair and transparent while giving clearance to start MBBS course in New Medical College or Increase MBBS seats or start PG seats or increase its numbers. So the Highest Court want that MCI every decision should be monitored by Oversight Committee this year too as in last year.
