The proposed reforms on regulation of medical education. Govt has already taken a decision to reform the medical education in this country. The view of the govt at present is: MCI has not done its job properly and medical education is in shambles and India is running shortfall of quality doctors MCI had always put hurdles on the steps suggested by govt to make up the shortfall of doctors It is a corruption ridden body and should be disbanded now.
