The MCI says: a surgeon cannot do LSCS, hysterectomy, cannot treat fracture. But during an emergency, he can do these. On the other side, no MBBS or PG doctors are available in rural areas even in the range of 100 km and more. What is the purpose of MCI then and what does it want? Govt has a purpose of starting DNB rural surgery, why?
Surgeons are already there for year and are treating a number of diseases in rural area. Is there a battle between the govt and the MCI? Why are the rural people made to suffer ?
