Medical Council of India has been termed a tainted and corrupt body by parliament committee on health and its president was summoned by a committee for many explanations. The highest court of land was so much unsatisfied with this body that it appointed an oversight committee with Justice to oversight it's every decision of recognising medical colleges for MBBS and PG seats.
