MCI wants to make medical education to focus on competent students coming out as doctors capable of care to cure with empathy communication and ethics, as many of you voiced we must have a competent practice which will automatically make us empathetic and ethical. But communication may need to be perfected with practice Many of the consumer cases could have been avoided by correct communication As for ordering extra investigations incompetence is one of the reason but we try to hide it whereas a competent doctor will be constantly learning and updating As a medical educator, I request each of you to start reflective practice Let us improve our self and overcome the ignorance of the patient (customer) by educating them they will want to hear what they like and they are looking for scapegoats because they are upset.
