Synopsis A common cause of heel pain is Plantar Fasciitis. Considering the various interventions applied in patients, dry needling as a new treatment option is studied. A recent clinical study demonstrated the effectiveness of dry needling versus steroid injection for plantar fasciitis. Based on the clinical findings, it was observed that dry needling gave much satisfactory results for long term than steroid injection.
