Ortho k is a new content lens used for medical treatment of moderate myopia in the age group of 6 to 10 years. Uses:  They are used during the night to cause corneal reshaping. It is used in children of age group of 6 to 10 years and moderate myopia is corrected in couple of days.

They are also supposed to arrest progress of myopia by 40 percent. They are also helpful for children who want to opt for sports. They are also indicated in astigmatism presbyopia and hypermetropia
