A recent randomized clinical trial showed that structured adherence to a Mediterranean-style diet significantly reduced psoriasis severity scores and systemic inflammatory markers in adults with moderate disease. Patients on the diet had fewer flares, improved quality-of-life indices, and reduced need for rescue topical therapy compared with standard dietary advice.
