While travelling in trains I see a spate of hermaphrodites almost demanding money from younger passengers.they are relatiely well built.In the 1970s when I was student in medicalcollege I never saw this type of scene ever. 1.Is there an increase in the incidence of hermaphroditism in india? 2.I tried to read a good amount of information about sexual dimorphism in humans and its relative effect on some metabolic pathways-some time soon the compilation may see the light of publication.But that is not my point of discussion.
3.I realised that there are a plethora of trancription factors and associated proteins which are responsible for normal male and female feotus development.Any one of these several factors ,if partially also becomes defunct, may play havoc. 4.time and again ill effect of gutka/tobacco on sperm quality has been reported,though molecular targets are not identified..…
