This presentation is to emphasize the need to save an organ till the end stage. It happened in 2008 when i was working in MOH tertiary hospital,Kuwait.

The hist is: 2 yr normal ,healthy boy was admited by me to another ward through casuality with 104 F nonrepoding fever.The child belonged to a keralite couple.There was no such previous history nor of any UTI episodes.Investigations proved severe E.Coli  UTI and was treated by ceftriaxone and amikacin as per the sensitivity.Father used to meet me in my ward and was not happy at   all as fever persisted for 5 days long.Anyhow was discharged  after a week of rx  with appointment for US next week.After discharge unsatisfied father met me and complained still his child is irritable and not good.I saw all the reports and concluded that this child has to have some structural real anomaly.So i asked my indian radiologist friend for urgent US…
