Probiotic is very important for the survival of our harmonious bacteria in the colon for absorption of water and other food juices.But a recent study among pregnant mother is establishing that in these Mothers less episode of Pre -Eclampsia, and Prematurity is seen. The Scandinavian study found that pregnant women who drink milk containing probiotic 'friendly' bacteria are less likely to have premature births or pre-eclampsia. Timing, however, played a big role, researchers found.Women who drank probiotic milk early in their pregnancies, but not those who only drank it before or late in pregnancy, were 21 percent less likely to give birth prematurely compared to others.
