I have got a patient who is a known case of Myathenia Gravis on drugs and now as per the cardiac condition and investigations including CAG needed bypass surgery. He was referred to higher center at Madurai for further management after discussing about the possible worst outcome due to prolonged anesthesia and the enzyme changes in the respiratory muscles with the patient and relatives. The patient was kept in ICU for ten days and by the time he developed Ventricular septal rupture and severe cardiac failure.
Patient was shifted as per the advice of the multi speciality hospital since not possible todo surgery due to the condition and in Tirunelveli in a cardiac centre patient was managed for the emergency and advised urgent CABG with VSR repair.The patient was shunted to the end of India for further management.
