On this National Cancer Awareness Day, the efforts of Paediatric Fraternity, and physicians caring for children need to be thanked for ensuring early diagnosis, prompt referral of a child with cancer and continue taking part in the shared care after in hospital regimen, while on OPD Basis Chemotherapy and completion of treatment. India is tremendously progressing in reducing the Child Mortality Rates.This is due to active interventions in reducing Neonatal and Infant Mortality Rates both by Government and Private stakeholders.
Our Nation has the potentiality to further progress in terms of curbing preventable child deaths.
