An increasing number of children have been affected by the second wave of COVID-19. However, children are often asymptomatic or have mild symptoms as the ACE-2 entry receptors are less expressed in them. Several studies have shown psychological problems like anxiety, depression, irritability, mood swings, attention deficit, and sleep disturbances among quarantined children due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, there have also been instances of neurological manifestations due to COVID-19 infection in children.
