Scientists from Melbourne have discovered a new drug for cancer treatment. This drug can put cancer cells into permanent sleep, without causing any harmful side-effects as caused by conventional therapies. This study is published in the journal Nature. This class of drug works by arresting the growth and spread of the tumor without damaging the cells’ DNA. This new category of drug is a great alternative for cancer patients.
