WHO has launched a new App that helps in deciding the medical eligibility for use of different kinds of contraceptives. This App will guide women in choosing safe and effective family planning techniques depending on the medical condition of the users. Nine common types of contraceptives have been included in the app and multiple medical conditions can be combined to get optimum results.
Emergency contraception has been provided as additional information and graphical representations have also been used to make the platform more user-friendly and easier to understand. Source: World Health Organization
