Post casearean (full term)female baby developes swelling in left elbow which was noticed in round by by paediatrician. On examination by orthosurgeon left elbow was swollen and baby was crying on attempted movements of left elbow.Elbow was tender diffusely and no local raise of temp. Mother was normal . Counts normal. Crp was normal ( baby sample) Baby is otherwise normal.
Post slab was applied and removed on 10 th day. On examination elbow is non tender and rom is painful. Attaching fresh x ray. Counts and CRP is wnl. Pl opine on how to proceed.
