A 3-day-old infant was presented with yellowish discoloration of the body and fever for the last two days. Physical examination: The infant appeared irritable and jaundiced Respiratory rate: 42/min Heart rate: 140/min Temperature: 37.8°C The infant was born to a 21-year-old primigravida by normal delivery. The course of pregnancy was unremarkable.
