The medical college under Kerala University of Health Sciences was denied permission to take admission of MBBS students in session 2018-19 by the Admission Supervisory Committee for professional colleges in Kerala as the college does not comply with the order of committee to refund excessive fees taken from students in the year 2016-17. The Committee found that the college admitted students as per their choice and extracted hugh money from them for admission in MBBS Course. The college went to Kerala high court against it which rejected college plea and order college to comply with Committee order of refunding students excessive money taken by them.
