It has been seen that maximum number of medical equipments be it a hospital bed or a fumigation machine or a CT SCan machine do not have MRP printed on them. The dealers qoute exorbitant prices and then you have to bargain with them. Sometimes after bargaining the dealers give it for as little as 50% of the quoted price.

This is a very tiresome process. Shouldn't the GOI make MRP on medical equipments compulsory as it is for other products like tea bags etc.
