Nominate: Dr. Maitreyi Patel Dr. Maitreyi Patel is a consultant dermatologist and she has started working in the tribal area situated in banaskantha and a village named Virampur since 4 years. She has treated around 4000 patients with skin disorders free of cost along with free medicines.
She is joined with an NGO named Samvedna managed by Mr. Hasmukh Patel. She treats these patients by attending the medical camps on last Sunday of every month. Recently she went to almost 20 villages affected by floods in Banaskantha and treated almost 1000 patients in 2 days by giving them medicines and providing them with mosquito nets and few basic necessities.
