The clinical presentation and etiopathogenesis of diabetes may vary significantly. As per a previous study, four clusters of diabetic patients were identified in the Indian population Severe insulin-deficient diabetes Insulin-resistant obese diabetes Combined insulin resistant and deficient diabetes Mild age-related diabetes It is crucial to identify these clusters for effective screening and treatment strategies. Leveraging techniques like ambulatory glucose profiling and time-in-range can add to the accuracy of these strategies.
