Optimum growth in children is supported by nutritious intake, enough sleep, and regular exercise. However, changing dietary habits, quality of food, and lifestyle has compromised the overall growth in children. In reality, food fills the stomach but lacks nutrients.
As per UNICEF India, 43% of Indian children under five years are underweight and 48% (i.e. 61 million children) are stunted due to chronic undernutrition. The current survey intends to gather opinions on the need of recommending nutritional supplements in the pediatric population.
