Recent studies indicate a link between obesity and asthma incidence. Depending on the data is clear that inflammatory mechanisms play a crucial role in determining the linkage of this phenomenon. Based on the studies, the present article outlines the underlying link between obesity and asthma. Obesity is accompanied by chronic low-grade inflammation that augments systemic complications.
