Odisha AYUSH docs can now prescribe allopathic medicines The Odhisa state government has decided to allow the doctors of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) to prescribe allopathic medicine to patients in the state. The Odisha Medical Services Association (OMSA), an outfit of more than 4,200 doctors, alongside senior doctors and intellectuals strongly opposed the government move.
