Acute pain is common and experienced by 35-70% of trauma patients in the prehospital emergency setting. 1 Despite this, undertreatment of acute pain or oligoanalgesia is a well-recognized problem in the prehospital setting. 2 It occurs due to insufficient communication with patients, fear of side effects, and the physicians’ presumption about analgesia. 2 Evidence suggests that both patient’s characteristics and physicians’ practice variation contribute to oligoanalgesia. 1 Novartis and  Docplexus  have organized an interactive webinar on 10 th  July   2020  at 2:00 PM,  to gain a better understanding of acute pain management.
