Salient Features : 41.3% patients were admitted as compared to 68% to 69% of patients presenting to the emergency department with a positive COVID-19 test result. Patients hospitalized during Omicron were younger ( 36 years vs 59 years) Fewer patients with comorbidities were admitted in present wave.
