New York researchers have developed a wearable , flexible, stretchable, AI-integrated, and polymer-based computing chip that can continuously track an individual’s health (Figure 1). Unlike a smartwatch, this chip integrates seamlessly with the skin and can collect, store, and analyze data from multiple biosensors like the human brain. Features The chip is an intrinsically stretchable and electrochemical transistor-based neuromorphic device. It provides >800 states, linear or symmetric weight update, >100 million switching endurance, >104 s state retention, and a stretchability of 100% strain.
