The most common form of cancer in females is breast cancer. It affects 12.5% of the female population every year . Oncoplasty is a recent technique of breast cancer surgery that aims to achieve wider excision margins of the tumorous portion while conserving much of the healthy tissue and preserving the esthetics . It focuses on partial mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. The rationale is to displace and replace the volume post excision.
The method also focuses on reshaping and finding symmetry with the contralateral breast by several technique-sensitive grafting approaches.
