Patient's Death during a Surgeon's Conference and Workshop while he was being operated by a Japanese Surgeon as a Demo Surgery sparked a row and protest. It happened recently in All India Institute of medical Sciences, Delhi when a famous Japanese Surgeon did a laparoscopic resection of Liver for a Cirrhosis of Liver patient. He died of extensive bleeding on the operation table when many expert sureons were actually witness to it as they were all watching the surgery from CCTV coverage.
This raises a question as to what needs to be done in such a situation. If a temporary registration has to be obtained from the local State Medical Council before allowing such surgeons coming from any country to operate on Indian patients.
