Dear Friends, I am watching many videos and images on social networking sites and apps (FB, whatsapp, etc) about the disease, diagnostics and other very specific details of patients being circulated. Many a times it is for discussion but I think this is wrong. How would I feel if my USG report is being viewed by complete strangers that too without my knowledge? Is it PHI (Patient health info) ? I also see vidoes of basti, snehan and other initimate ones being shared?
I would like to know if you all have come across such situations? What is your stand about PHI and circulating/ sharing such things? What have to done to stop it and what was your experience with that? Thanks!!
