A 20-year-old male was brought to the emergency department following a motor vehicle accident. The patient was unresponsive and required intubation. Bilateral pleural catheters were inserted following intubation. Bronchoscopy was performed which found a large hematoma in the right main bronchus which was removed and allowed re-expansion of the right lung.
