Often it happens that we do not tell the patient clearly of the disease that they are harboring for the fear of the society or due to the fear as to how the patient may react to the knowledge. According to you, should the patient remain ignorant or should she/he be made aware of the gravity of the disease, the implications, and the prognosis?
