A non-diabetic normotensive lady complains of menstruation for a month with heavy and passage of clot for last seven days. Her Hb level is 10 gm%, CBC normal, US pelvis and TVS shows endometrial thickness 9.3mm, an intramural fibroid 20X18 mm and simple rt ovarian cyst, others normal. Her lipid profile normal.
She is on Aterovastatin 10 mg daily. Her TSH is0.04uIU/ml, free T3 is 3.18pg/ml and free T4 is 1.32ng/dl which appears to be in sub clinical hyperthyroidism. May I know especially from gynecologist and endocrinologist the line of treatment and anything to be done more as the patient is my relative.
