A 9 year old girl having exudative ascitis,which developed around 21 months back.Her left, KFT USG abdomen , CT abdomen were normal at that time(nov 2013). She had only exudation Ascitis.Protein in ascitic luid more than 3 gm%. ada more than 10 mononuclear cells.She had fever initially but fever subsided after initial ATT- RHZ. After staring ATT, her fever subsided weight gain started but ascitic fluid remained as such.
She has take ATT for 16 month two months RHZ and 14 months RH. What could be the reason of persisting ascitic fluid in exudative ascitis ? What should we do now
