Recently 14 yr boy and his 10 yr sister consulted me for persitent E.Coli UTI for several years .Surprisingly their cousin brother 16 yr old joined them with persistent proteus UTI for several yrs. They had such significant growth and urinary symptoms of genital burning,itching ,malaise etc for yrs and in few days on sensitive antibiotics becomes symtom free for a week or two and then problems recurred.At least they showed me 10 urinary culture reports which confirmed the infections.
