The overexpression of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) in breast cancer results in more aggressive disease with a poor prognosis. The more active combination for human HER2 in breast cancer is anti-HER2 monoclonal antibodies pertuzumab and Trastuzumab since they comprehensively block signaling pathway.
