Malpractices of pharma freebies to doctors will soon see disciplinary action on not just doctors but the CEO of the pharma companies indulging in the unethical marketing practices.Confirmation to this effect was recently made by Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan to the Lok Sabha as the minister elaborated on the action taken on the corrupt practices. But till today no action against any CEO has been taken,no pharma company has been punished except letter to their association and then letter to company and then files are closed under pressure from different bureaucrats and politicians as all earn. But few Doctors who hardly have any good connections in Government or MCI at state or central level are targeted and punished to show to public that they are taking action.
