A new research finds that hard physical work, high blood pressure and taking multiple medications may contribute to lesser sperm quality and men fertility. According to the study, 13 percent of the men who had physically demanding jobs had low sperm counts. The findings also showed that men who had been diagnosed with high blood pressure had a lower percentage of normally shaped sperm. The researchers also found that men who took multiple medications were more likely to have low sperm counts.

Fifteen percent of men who took two or more medications had sperm counts below 39 million. An expert suggests that the men seeking fertility should consider changing lifestyle factors, such as activity and diet. http://www.fertstert.org/article/S0015-0282(15)00132-6/fulltext
