Case presentation A 31-week-old preterm male was born by caesarian section to a 30-year-old mother. His birth weight was 1080 gm, and his head circumference was 27 cm. Clinical features Apgar scores: 6 (1 min), 5 (5 min), and 5 (10 min) His left hand was placed in an elevated position as it was swollen because of a constriction band.
