Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA) and Indian Medical Association (IMA) has demanded an immediate removal of PMC's legal advisor who is accused of booking innocent doctor against false and fabricated cases under PCPNDT act. At a meeting of radiologists and representatives of the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA) and Indian Medical Association (IMA), the members urged the Mayor and Municipal Commissioner to instruct Pune Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) health department to identify and nab the real culprits who are conducting sex-determination tests by laying traps and sending decoy patients. Doctors have reportedly told the Mayor and Commissioner that the PMC's present legal advisor has defended Dr Sudam Munde and other doctors who are charged with cases of female feticide.
