A 78-year-old patient on insulin was admitted for nursing and wound care 15th Oct was under surgical care. Initially, the bedsore was 4x4cms, later increased to 20x20cms with diabetic control. New wounds appeared on the back, knee joint and heel though smaller the back wound. Multiple antibiotics were given, diabetes was controlled by 10 plus 20 LA insulin. On 11th Nov, the patient was taken to OR for Vacuum-assisted cleaning. The patient developed shock-like features.

After CPR, the patient was put on ventilator support. The patient never recovered and died. Medical history': Pt was on insulin- controlled antihypertensives-controlled Markers for SLE- Negative Culture revealed  Four different species of  Proteus. Sever CCF Kindly give your opinion.
