The pluripotent stem cell is a precursor of all cells of our body. By customizing it to form different tissue, many organs can be regenerated and this the Scientific Research of this Millenium. We can generate any damaged tissue by it or can replica our whole body too but these are found in Foetal blood and in foetal cord.
It is very hard to get it in bone marrow in adult, so if not preserved at the time of birth we cant do any therapy in the adult. But now Chinese scientists have developed a novel method by mixing two chemicals that help generate stem cells which can self-renew or multiply while maintaining the potential to develop into other types of cells and be used to treat a wide range of ailments.
