A 62 years old man a heavy chronic smoker and alcohol drinker, used to drink right from the morning a defaulter came with pulmonary tuberculosis. He was provided antitubercular medications for one month, advised to quit smoking and drinking and allotted a dots provider for supervised therapy. The patient took one dose and died all of sudden in next morning. Attendants revealed quitting of alcohol and smoking by patient, he fell on the ground with abnormal movement of one hand, became unconscious took to hospital but died on the way.
