It is very easy for someone to lodge a false complaint with Medical Council ( in my case Chhattisgarh Medical Council ) against a Doctor, and later dissociate themselves from the complaint. To the best of my knowledge, there is no mechanism to weed out false complaints without any proof of the Identity of the complainant .
In my opinion all complaints should be lodged only if submitted with an affidavit, so that if , after proper investigation, complaint is found to be false and baseless, necessary legal action can be initiated against the complainant . What are your views on this?
