Patients with vaginal stenosis are counseled for regular sexual activity and use of vaginal dilators.

In order to evaluate the effectiveness of use of vaginal dilators we undertook this study. AIM: To study the efficacy of vaginal dilator in stage III cervical cancer post radiation patients. METHODS: Patients diagnosed as stage III cervical cancer post radiation were regularly assessed for response. Hundred patients who were found to have vaginal adhesions of varying severity on follow-up were referred and evaluated in occupational therapy department during 2004-2005 for vaginal dilatation exercises post radiation.…
